Chevron Sparkle for Pres Ball

Wake Forest Football

Ladies and gentlemen, Wake Forest football is back in action. What an awesome game on Saturday - fun tailgates, perfect weather and winning over a ranked Florida State. Could we have asked for a better day? Below, we link to two of our favorite Wake sports articles in recent memory - although now that we're thinking about it, they may be the only positive Wake Sports articles written in recent memory.

When you come into a situation where things haven't gone all that well, there's a tendency to find reasons to complain about everything. If you do that, it filters down to everyone in the program. And it doesn't do any good to complain anyway.

Florida State is not as good as many of us had expected, and Wake Forest is much, much better.

Remember to send in your tailgate pictures for the YT Clothing Contest. We've already gotten some submissions and we must say, our readers only get more stylish as the season goes on.

YT Clothing Contest!

The fall clothing contest to win an adorable dress from YT Clothing continues. We are still debating about buying the strapless Katie dress or Lindsay with long sleeves - or maybe both. This week's winner Erin Kerr is convincing us to get the long sleeve dress - who can resist it when it's paired with cute wedges and a foot pop?

Congratulations to Erin who joins Jordan (below on Family Weekend) in our fall raffle for a free YT Clothing dress. Remember to send us your pictures from tomorrow's tailgate if you want a chance to win one of YT Clothing's gorgeous dresses.

Black and Gold Madness this Weekend

A football player once told Chic Deac it's the most defeating thing in the world to walk over and sing the alma mater in front of an empty student section. It's high time we revive this tradition and we are so glad that President Hatch thinks so too. Stay til the end tomorrow as the Deacs take on FSU ... and then go to Reynolds Gym.

Why?

Rumor has it you will see the biggest legends in Wake Forest basketball's history. Doors open at 5:30pm for Black and Gold Madness. Get there early because the public is invited.

Expect to see some of this action:

One Shoulder Sass

Looking for something different to wear to Pres Ball? How about a one shoulder dress? This silhouette will show off your collarbone and shoulders, but without the annoying yanking motion girls tend to make when wearing strapless dresses.
