Good news, y'all: Chic Deac is alive and well. Just had to take a mental break from posting while taking an actual break from Wake Forest. But we are back! 

The first day of class is here and we're already looking for a craft project that will distract us from the mounds of homework that will surely pile up over the next few weeks. We found this adorable DIY lacy gold chain necklace on Pinterest and we are eager to try and replicate it. Who doesn't need a fabulous statement necklace on a budget?

Are you reading Matchbook Magazine? It's an online only magazine and we can't seem to get enough. Six issues in and we're addicted. It's like they can read our minds or something. For example, this Kate Spade necklace:

If you are wanting more than the monthly dose, follow Matchbook on Facebook or Twitter. They also have a fabulous blog called The Daily Spark. They are always asking fun questions and talking about the Matchbook Girl - which always describes us perfectly. It kind of ruins your sense of individualism, but who really cares when they are pointing you in the direction of such pretty things??

Anthro Sale

We like to follow companies on Facebook and Twitter as opposed to getting ten emails every day from various people that junk up our inbox. This way, all of our sale info is nicely condensed in our feeds and we can pick and choose. Today, we picked Anthropologie's sale update as the source of our daily "will we spend money we don't have" internal debate. We may just spend it for these cute finds - a striped top and summery golden scarf.
