Calligraphy Skirt

This kind of weather begs for two things: pumpkin spice lattes and online shopping. Mother Nature and Starbucks must have collaborated on today's date being the debut of the PSL and yucky, chillier weather. Plus, we found this gem of a skirt while we were online shopping. If there was ever such a thing as the most perfect Wake Forest skirt ... this is it, ladies and gentlemen. Leave it to Anthro, right? It's $118, but tell me you wouldn't wear this all the time in the fall. For the rest of your life. This is an investment, people. We see this with a cozy, lightweight black cardigan and some great boots. Go ahead and buy it. You know you want to!

First Day of Class Chic

Are you ready to hit the books again, chic ones? We're not in case you couldn't tell. Orientation could be extended permanently if you want our opinion. However, first day of class outfits are exciting enough to actually get us out of bed on Wednesday. The look below is pulled together, without looking like you tried too hard. Please avoid the leopard heels in the picture on the right though - flats are always more appropriate for class. Especially if you're a freshman who is going to get lost no fewer than 18 times on your first day.

Bows Galore

Chic Deac loves a good bow - there's nothing more endearing and whimsical in our opinion - but sometimes it's hard to rock a bow and look your age. You want to wear it without looking like you did when you were eight. We put together a fun Pinterest board over the past few weeks with some of our favorite mature ways to incorporate bows in your style. Some of our favorites are below and you can check out the whole board here.

Khaki Chic

We've finally got our invite for Pinterest, and following in the footsteps of Style of a 20-Something, we'll shortly be sharing our creative boards with you. It's safe to say that this is a bona fide addiction. Anyways, we've found some great pieces from the various people we're following over there and combined them into one chic summer look.

Old Gold and Black Swirl Skirt

It's rare that we find something that is actually Old Gold and Black. We find a lot of yellow, a lot of "new" gold (I guess that's what you call it) and a lot of tan. But I feel like we can call the color of this skirt's swirl Old Gold. Try it out with boots and a cute top, because it's under $30 from Forever21.

Check it out, chic ones!

Cheap Chic Friday

Today's under $30 outfit is perfect for all of the orientation events going on or the Hitchcock movie out on the lawn of Reynolda House tonight.

Check out this adorable skirt from Forever 21. The black embroidery on the skirt is great and the yellow tank below from Nordstrom's brightens up the look.

Remember that $30 gets you further than you think. Also, enter our weekly giveaway for these earrings!
